About Peder Strandh
Born in 1969, in Örebro, Sweden.
Since 2005 working professionaly as a progressive creativist in hometown Uppsala (70 km's north of Stockholm).
Art
"As a young boy I was obsessed with the fact that the contrast makes the existence perceptible. And all the colours I considered being one huge bonus", says Peder in an interview from 2002.
After having finished compulsory- and upper secondary school Peder made his living as a "nomadic" drawing- and remedial teacher.
Alongside his pedagogical occupation he was busy exploring his own artistic expressions, painting on requests from buyers etcetera.
In 2005, he finally decided to dedicate his full time to his art. Togeteher with his partner in life, Maria Klefbeck, he established the company Studio Peder Strandh a.k.a. Filurarverkstan, in his more recent hometown Uppsala (since 2003).
Today Peder Strandh his studio is somewhat of a conception in the Swedish cultural mind.
Art and exhibitions:
Since the late 1990's a large number of national exhibitions in Stockholm, the Art Nordic show in Gothenburg etcetera.
Illustrations|Courses:
Illustrated for a number of Swedish newspapers and magazines.
2009 - Visiting Professor at Buena Vista University, IA USA, by invitation. Offering course: Art as Life - Skills of Defining and Overcoming Barriers of the Mind.

Music
"I fell in love with a Steinway & sons grandpiano at the age of six", Peder remeber.
From that moment on he found a second home in the musical sphere.
As a young man he took an active part in the electro- and synthesizer music trend (early 1980?s) as lead singer and composer in several bands.
In the late 1990?s he met with guitarist Mikael Lindkvist and formed the duo Quest in ?rebro (from 2000 the duo had their studio in Stockholm).
Today Peder produces his own music in the private owned StrandhStudio and sometimes perform live - on special occasions.
Peder Strandh sometimes produce and perform under his artistic/pseudo name "thePuddyProject".
